The Wayne County Sheriff's Department has begun selling surplus
equipment via Montgomery, AL-based online auction provider GovDeals
(www.govdeals.com.) Please continue to go onto www.govdeals.com or the

for additional items that will be added to the online auction
throughout the remainder of 2008. Bidders may register free of charge
at www.govdeals.com.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Departmentis excited about the opportunity
to partner with Gov Deals to sell surplus property. Local auctions
result in a limited number of bids and by opening up the Wayne County
Sheriff's Department surplus property to bidders on the web we expect
to greatly increase the visibility of our surplus property. This
partnership will result in a substantial reduction in up front auction
